What is a photographer supposed to do when it rains all day long… Thinks outside his box. Yesterday Autumn and Scott were married at Portland’s St. Pats Catholic church. A beautiful old church with an incredible spiral staircase with just these tiny little windows. The wedding ceremony was a traditional catholic mass. The wedding become interesting when the tractor pulled up with a hay wagon attached to take the wedding party to the Wagon Wheel Bar. The bride decided to ride in the car to the bar, while the groomsmen did everything they could to stay standing.
The wagon wheel allowed for a little creativity. The bowling alley was fun. I was able to get this party out of its shell. From the bowling alley the wagon pulled away with most of the bridal party and a few new friends that were at the bar. They took the back roads to the reception. The result was a wedding gown with a ring of black mud around the bottom of the dress. Needles to say this wedding party had been having way to much fun. Here are a few wedding photographs.
