I was able to be the “Family Friend” to photograph this event at Bertha Brock Park in Ionia, Michigan.  Palmer Lodge was a incredible setting for a wedding.  The Boy Scouts built this lodge years ago and still have regular meetings there.  I had never done a wedding at this venue and ironically it is only 6 miles from home.  I will be back there later this summer!

June 29, 2009 - 9:44 am Janey - I came across this article when searching google for wedding photography information for a blog article that I’m writing and although it’s not exactly what I was looking for, I found your article interesting I spent more time looking at the pictures then doing the research I needed to!
