OK Famous People . . . if we are going to be with you the entire day, please, Please tell us who you are so that when we do figure it out we don’t feel so dumb!

A few weeks ago or so Brandon and I photographed a wedding, the Breen-Dombrowski wedding in fact. It was in Lansing and it was HOT. No, the couple wasn’t famous, but his sister in law is. She’s Shelly Breen of Point Of Grace, she sang at the wedding, she looked familiar, but it never did click. We didn’t find out until yesterday, bummer. I listened to Point Of Grace all the time as a teenager, I sang along with them when I was cleaning the barn, I have their CD’s, they are on my iPod, I hear them on the radio! But, NOOO when I see her in person I don’t recognize her, or realize that when she sings she sings REALLY well. I might have even told her she sings beautifully, duh. I did talk to her all day long, and told her how adorable her daughter is, shared Lily’s flower girl story, but it never did come up that she was a singer with plenty of #1 songs. Man, if I would have realized who she was . . . (kicking myself)

Of Course I have no idea what I would have done differently besides telling her that her music is awesome.
