The Waterfall where we photograph seniors is one of the coolest places I have the awesome privilege to photograph. The fun you can have when playing in a raging waterfall makes taking senior portraits easy. This young lady traveled from Allendale to have us take her Senior portraits.

Many guys don’t think is cool or fun to get their senior portraits, but Modern Photographics will put an end to that. Our studio makes its comfortable for any guy to get his senior portraits taken. We don’t coo over you, or make you pose like a girl. We laugh, talk sports, talk games, talk about cars, or whatever it takes to talk about what the guy wants to talk about. I had to have my senior portraits taken twice so I understand what it takes to be a guy’s photographer.
It does not matter what her style is, we want her to shine. Each girl wants to be unique when it comes to their Senior Portraits. By getting to know who you are we are able to make your portraits personalized to who you are.
From time to time we get to add live props to the portrait. This group of sisters is special. They are a close family that plays hard and has a lot of fun together.
Every year I get to photograph a handful of seniors at our legendary waterfall. Senior Portraits are fun when you add water. 2010 is going to be an even better year for waterfall shots. As we add even more cool and unique ideas my mind will be flowing with the next great idea.

Track Star Girl Senior Portraits – Michigan
Hurdling Lowell Michigan is this track star’s objective. Heather had her hair and makeup done by Amy Parrish of A K Salon. Like every other session Amy did an incredible job high lighting the best of Heather’s beautiful features. Her eyes sparkle as she smiles or is serious. It is very exciting for me as a photographer to see a girl like Heather shine.
Don’t Fade Away: Does Color Extending Shampoo really work and why do I need to use it? Color Extend Shampoos protect hair to extend the life and vibrancy of haircolor. Make sure the product you use is formulated with Anti-Fade properties as well as UV filters. UV filters help lock in color and lock out radicals from the environment (radicals are things like mineral-rich water, frequent washing with harsh shampoo, chorine and environmental pollutants).
