Another year has rolled around and we say Thank you and best wishes for a bright future from Modern Photographics to our 2012 graduates. We have had a great time getting to know you and look forward to keeping in touch with you. Send us some pictures of college life or whatever the future holds for you. Go out and conquer the world!

We now offer special monthly packages for $99. These sessions are only offered for a limited time and are about 1/2 hour long. We will have you come back about a week later and look at all your pictures. At that time you can choose your favorite pose and we will touch up and print 4 gift prints (any size you want 4×5, 4×6 5×7 or 8×10) and 8 wallets. All this for $99 (plus tax)! Girls Night Out Fall 2011!
We had a great time last night at Girls Night Out. Over 300 women stopped by to get their photos taken, and check out the purses, furniture, and Free hair and makeup fixes from some of our new friends. The Big Announcement of the night was the introduction of Casie Thelen, Owner of HAIRstudio. Casie will be opening her new Salon inside our studio this December 3rd. She brings over 13 years of experience and clients with her to HAIRstudio. Over the next month the dust will be in the air as they transform their space into their dream business. Every once in awhile a person needs to stop and reflect on whats going on around them. Today I found that time while taking a morning off and hanging out with Dan Johnson from Dan Johnson Photography. I realized that this time was much needed to pause and get my bearings. Dan and I spent the morning with Scott from Scott’s Sport Fishing Charters. God blessed us with great weather (cold and windy) and plenty of fish (1 each). I say it was a blessing because the lack of fish made us be patient and trust our guide. Very similar to today’s business world. I sometimes have to be patient with our guides. Dan and I were able to talk about life and photography. It is nice to know that there is another photographer who has the same values about business and faith. I really appreciate my wife’s support to take the day off. I also appreciate all the friends that think I am crazy for working so hard. Thanks for all your support.
This couple took advantage of our Free Engagement Sessions. Modern Photographics offers Free Engagement Sessions for all new couples thru June 30th, 2009. It doesn’t matter if you have a photographer for your wedding or not. Normally this is a $100 session. This session includes in-studio session 4×5 image for the paper with outdoor add-on for only $50. We do require a $100 print deposit at the time of booking your session. We also allow up to two outfit changes for this session.
What something more. Our Relationship study valued at $200 is also available to add-on for only $100. This session includes on location within 30 miles of the studio. Includes Downtown Grand Rapids or Lansing.
