The wedding and reception were held at Southern Exposures. I have to say its the Grand Hotel’s Garden on Steroids hidden on a little hilly road between Marshal and Battle Creek.
It is a hidden treasure that is booked up for 2009 already, and getting a number of weddings on the books for 2010! I was so impressed by the gardens, the barns, and the service. They treated us and the guests like royalty. Tending to all their needs. The DJ who is a treasure in himself, did an amazing job keeping the dance floor packed all night long. He is the recommended DJ of the Southern Exposures for a reason.

It was cool today to find out that when you type in
“I can’t remember what is it I wanted”
It links you to our event page for our Gallery Tomorrow night

With the help of many authors my goal is to have a one stop shop for all the “happenings” of Lowell, MI. Whether its a Chamber event or Township event, you will be able to find out when it is, and after the event you will be able to find out how cool it was. So add it to your feedreader and check it often.

What happens when you fall off a wave runner with your camera around your neck…..
Smile, grab your backup camera and get back to work. Yesterday’s session tested me, but I was able to laugh it off. Why? Why not, I call myself a professional for a reason, I have back up equipment, I have insurance, and I don’t get mad when things go bad. I didn’t want to ruin this clients session, because I wanted to be creative and do something cool.
And here is how I was rewarded…..
Way to much FUN!

Why am I sitting in a 2001 Corvette? Because my client let me drive it back to the studio (and I didn’t even ask)
Thanks to the Jeffrey Family for a Great Day, and an opportunity to practice what I preach….

*Tsk, Tsk* She’s was supposed to be on bed rest!!! Brandon didn’t make her walk miles like we do most pregnant ladies. Brandon laughed and laughed with this couple. Apparently they have quite a sense of humor, just like Brandon. I can’t imagine how much fun we’re going to have with this new family in the next year. By the way… Her husband was a great assistant!
This incredible author arrived at our studio looking for a “Head shot” for a book she is publishing. What is a photographer supposed to do, when she is writing a book about her life in comparison to an old rugged wooded roller coaster. I am thankful she allowed me creative freedom. I had the perfect “Wooden roller coaster” like thing just sitting behind my studio. I am so excited, I cannot wait to read the book.
